FC Story How it all Started

It all started when a team of brothers started playing soccer about 15 years ago. A pretty long time ago! The team of brothers played at Susquehanna Sports Center in Lemoyne. Some of the team members eventually had children and their little boys watched them play as years passed. Later they got interested in soccer so they followed their father’s steps and began to play soccer together. Eventually, a large group of fathers from Masjid Al-Nur really added players to the team and dedication. The parents came together and reserved indoor fields for kids to play soccer and gave halaqah’s every week. Bringing the community united and active. 

In the past few years, the number of players has almost doubled. Now we have 4 solid age groups (U9, U11, U14, and U18). Each age group has at least 2 volunteer coaches. Since we have this many committed players we are now eligible to register as a club and play as a tournament team with EPYSA (Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Association) and local indoor league teams at Yellow Breeches Sports Complex in New Cumberland.
